O sol lá no monte começa a nascer
Lá na mata canta toda a passarada
E lá na paiada pia o chororó
O reio do terreiro abre a garganta
Bate a asa e canta em cima do paiol

Quando o sol esquenta, cantam cigarras
Em grande algazarra na beira da estrada
Lindas borboletas de variadas cores
Vem beijar as flores já desabrochadas
Este pedacinho de chão encantado
Foi abençoado por nosso senhor
