Ging ich früher ins bett dann wär'ich viel ausgeruhter
Und säh'nicht ständig aus so wie alice cooper
Ein guter vorsatz jedoch fern der realität
Kreativität nicht früh sondern nur spät bei mir
Am vormittag geht bei mir gar nichts
Ich mach'gar nicht auf wenn es an der tür läutet
Weil das a vormittag sowieso nur streß bedeutet
Die hauseisterin oder die zeugen jehovas
Die bullen, der postbote, sternsinger oder sowas
Bringt mich nicht aus der ruhe
Ich war schon a schulschikurs der letzte der einschlief
Der, der immer noch quatschte während jeder schon eingepfiffen war
Mit 12 hab'ich jede nacht ein ganzes jahr vor dem fernseher verbracht
Bis zum sendschluß
Auf minimale lautstärke
Damit mein vater nichts merkte
Von "zeit im bild" bis zu "1000 meisterwerke" verfolgte ich auferksam alles was ich vorfand
Jeden film vom vorspann
Bis zum ende

Des sandanns bester kunde im bunde mit der dunkelheit
Bis das der tag anbricht
Doch ich scheue auch kein tageslicht
Wie vampire, grufties oder fledermäuse
Ich bin in jederweise
Nachtaktiv und tagträumer

Mich nicht mehr schlafen läßt

Und manches fest wird erst cool wenn man bis zum morgen bleibt
So treib'ich mich viel rum in clubs meiner umgebung
Mit freunden oder fördere die hip hop bewegung
Damit der scheiß unten bleibt
Im schutze der dunkelheit
Mit treibgas als treibstoff im offenen wettstreit
Für einen kleinen kreis der für die masse versteckt bleibt
Ok, von zeit zu zeit muß auch ich mal früh raus
Das war mir früher auch durchaus kein problem
Aber unbequem und qualvoll
Ich denk daran anchmal in der voll besetzten straßenbahn
Am morgen wenn ich heim fahr'
Wenn ich die gesichter seh'ist scheinbar keiner bestimmt für diese tageszeit
Doch solange mir mir noch zeit bleibt
Ist mein job in der nacht und am tag hab'ich freizeit
