ಎದ್ದು ಮುಖ ತೊಳೆ ಏಳು, ಎದ್ದು ಕಸ್ತೂರಿ ತಿಲಕ
ಮುದ್ದೆ ಬೆಣ್ಣೆಯ ನಿನಗೆ ನಾ ಕೊಡುವೆ
ಹೊತ್ತಿದ ಕತ್ತಲು ಹರಿದು ಬೆಳಗಾಯಿತು
ನಿದ್ದೆ ತಿಳಿದೆದ್ದು ಕೂಡಯ್ಯ ಕೃಷ್ಣ | 1|

ಬಿಸಿಯ ದೋಸೆಯ ಹೊಯ್ದು, ಮೊಸರು ಬೆಣ್ಣೆಯ ತೆಗೆದು
ಹೊಸದಾದ ಹಸುವಿನ ತುಪ್ಪವನ್ನು
ಹೆಸರು ಬೇಳೆಯ ಹುಗ್ಗಿ
ಹಸುಳೆ ನಿನಗೆ ಆರೋಹಣೆ ಮಾಡುವೆ |2|

ಎಂದೂ ಇಲ್ಲದ ಹಠವು, ಇಂದೇಕೆ ಇಂದೇಕೆ ಮಡುವೆಯೋ
