Текст и перевод песни Krishna Das - My Foolish Heart/Bhaja Govinda
My Foolish Heart/Bhaja Govinda
Mon cœur fou/Bhaja Govinda
My
foolish
heart
Mon
cœur
fou
Why
do
you
weep?
Pourquoi
pleures-tu
?
You
throw
yourself
away
again
Tu
te
jettes
encore
une
fois
Now
you
cry
yourself
to
sleep.
Maintenant
tu
te
fais
pleurer
pour
t'endormir.
Cry
yourself
to
sleep...
Pleurer
pour
t'endormir...
My
foolish
heart
Mon
cœur
fou
When
will
you
learn?
Quand
vas-tu
apprendre
?
You
are
the
eyes
of
the
world
Tu
es
les
yeux
du
monde
And
there′s
nowhere
else
to
turn.
Et
il
n'y
a
nulle
part
ailleurs
où
aller.
Nowhere
else
to
turn...
Nulle
part
ailleurs
où
aller...
Bhaja
Govindam,
bhaja
Govindam
Bhaja
Govindam,
bhaja
Govindam
My
foolish
heart.
Mon
cœur
fou.
Govindam
Govindam
Govindam
Govindam
Govindam
Govindam
My
foolish
heart
Mon
cœur
fou
My
foolish
heart
Mon
cœur
fou
My
foolish
heart...
Mon
cœur
fou...

The
words
"Bhaja
Govindam"
are
an
exhortation
to
adore
and
love
God.
In
the
8th
century,
the
great
saint,
Adi
Shankaracharya,
wrote
a
beautiful
hymn
called
"Bhaja
Govindam."
It
is
a
unique
prayer
as
it
unifies
the
path
of
Wisdom
(Jnana
Marg)
and
the
path
of
Devotion
(Bhakti
Marg).
Shankaracharya
praises
Devotion
as
a
spiritual
path
that
leads
to
liberation.
The
legend
is
that
he
was
walking
with
his
disciples
when
he
saw
an
old
scholar
teaching
his
young
students
the
rules
of
Sanskrit
grammar.
Shankaracharya
told
the
old
man
that
now
that
he
was
so
old
he
should
turn
his
mind
toward
God
and
stop
wasting
time.
In
every
he
described
the
ways
that
life
is
passing
by
and
with
it
our
opportunity
to
find
freedom
from
suffering.
Each
was
addressed
to
"my
foolish
mind/heart,"
mudhamate
in
Sanskrit.
I
wrote
a
couple
ofs
in
English
with
the
same
feeling.
Les
mots
"Bhaja
Govindam"
sont
une
exhortation
à
adorer
et
à
aimer
Dieu.
Au
8ème
siècle,
le
grand
saint,
Adi
Shankaracharya,
a
écrit
un
magnifique
hymne
appelé
"Bhaja
Govindam".
C'est
une
prière
unique
puisqu'elle
unifie
le
chemin
de
la
Sagesse
(Jnana
Marg)
et
le
chemin
de
la
Dévotion
(Bhakti
Marg).
Shankaracharya
loue
la
dévotion
comme
un
chemin
spirituel
qui
mène
à
la
libération.
La
légende
raconte
qu'il
marchait
avec
ses
disciples
lorsqu'il
a
vu
un
vieux
savant
enseigner
à
ses
jeunes
élèves
les
règles
de
la
grammaire
sanskrite.
Shankaracharya
dit
au
vieil
homme
que
maintenant
qu'il
était
si
vieux,
il
devrait
tourner
son
esprit
vers
Dieu
et
cesser
de
perdre
son
temps.
Dans
chaque
, il
a
décrit
les
façons
dont
la
vie
passe
et
avec
elle
notre
opportunité
de
trouver
la
liberté
de
la
souffrance.
Chaque
était
adressée
à
"mon
esprit/cœur
fou",
mudhamate
en
sanskrit.
J'ai
écrit
quelques
en
anglais
avec
le
même
sentiment.
