Le renard et la cigogne
The Fox and the Stork
Le
renard:
c'est
un
ancien
docker
du
port
de...,
spécialisé
dans
la
décharge
des
poulets
et
dans
la
chaille
avec
les
magasins
bleus,
d'ailleurs
c'est
pour
ça
qu'il
allait
souvent
au
trou
à
Pontaniou.
Pendant
ses
congés
payés,
direct
à
la
grève
des
chiens
sous
le
château
pour
essayer
d'emballer
les
gonzesses.
Pour
cela
il
fallait
bronzer
et
ce
con
là
se
foutait
derrière
une
poêle
à
marrons,
tu
parles,
plein
de
pikou
panez
sur
tout
le
museau.
Notre
rusé
préféré
crèche
aux
quat'
moul'
et
là
on
le
surnomme:
figure
de
peau
de
chamois
parce
qu'il
lustre
toutes
les
fins
d'
assiettes
et
surtout
les
verres
à
bock.
Ouaye!
'Toutes
façons
il
n'a
pas
une
tronche
à
sucer
de
la
glace,
mais
c'est
un
brave
mec
quand
même.
The
fox:
a
former
docker
at
the
port
of...
specialized
in
unloading
chickens
and
quail
with
the
blue
stores,
which
is
why
he
often
went
to
the
hole
in
Pontaniou.
During
his
paid
vacation,
he
went
straight
to
the
dog
strike
under
the
castle
to
try
to
pick
up
chicks.
For
this,
you
had
to
tan,
and
this
idiot
would
put
himself
behind
a
chestnut
roaster,
you
know,
full
of
pimples
all
over
his
snout.
Our
favorite
sly
one
lives
by
his
wits,
and
there
we
nickname
him:
chamois
skin
face
because
he
polishes
all
the
ends
of
plates
and
especially
beer
glasses.
Yeah!
'Anyway,
he
doesn't
have
a
face
for
sucking
ice
cream,
but
he's
a
good
guy
anyway.
La
cigogne:
a
fait
plusieurs
turbins:
livreuse
de
bébés
sans
bras
dans
les
mouchoirs
à
carreaux,
et
joueuse
de
castagnettes
avec
son
bec.
Ah
celle
quand
elle
était
jeune,
c'était
une
sacrée.
Elle
mettait
Ì
des
mini
jupes
pour
aller
sur
les
casse-gueules
à
la
braderie
de
Recouvrance.
Ah!
Tu
penses
bien
que
notre
docker
de
l'époque
était
aux
premières
loges
et
en
plus
il
venait
de
finir
la
course
de
tonneaux
annuelle
dans
la
rue
de
la
porte.
Donc
il
était
en
sudation,
prêt
à
tout,
et
en
plus
le
long
bec
se
mettait
debout
sur
le
manège
exprès,
tu
penses
bien
que
les
autres
en
bas:
hé,
vue
sur
la
rade!
Hé,
baisse
le
capot,
on
voit
le
moteur!
La
cigogne
écurée
émigre
vers
le
Guelmeur
(tonroncont'
sur
la
rive
gauche,
scandaleux!)
et
c'est
là
qu'elle
s'est
laissé
aller.
Elle
tombait
facilement
sur
des
pointes
rouillées
et
c'est
pour
ça
qu'on
l'a
surnommée
l'échassier
aux
quarante
enfants.
The
stork:
has
done
several
turbines:
delivery
of
armless
babies
in
checkered
handkerchiefs,
and
castanets
player
with
her
beak.
Ah,
when
she
was
young,
she
was
something
else.
She
wore
mini
skirts
to
go
to
the
dangerous
spots
at
the
Recouvrance
flea
market.
Ah!
You
can
imagine
that
our
docker
of
the
time
was
in
the
front
row
and
on
top
of
that
he
had
just
finished
the
annual
barrel
race
in
the
street
of
the
door.
So
he
was
sweating,
ready
for
anything,
and
on
top
of
that
the
long
beak
was
standing
up
on
the
merry-go-round
on
purpose,
you
can
imagine
the
others
below:
hey,
view
of
the
harbor!
Hey,
lower
the
hood,
we
can
see
the
engine!
The
trimmed
stork
migrates
to
Guelmeur
(round
and
round
on
the
left
bank,
scandalous!)
and
that's
where
she
let
herself
go.
She
fell
easily
for
rusty
spikes
and
that's
why
she
was
nicknamed
the
wader
with
forty
children.
Trois
ans
plus
tard
elle
revient
sur
la
rive
droite
enfin!
Tu
penses
bien
que
tous
les
marlous
chantaient
à
tue-tête:
la
cigogne
est
de
retour.
Three
years
later,
she
returns
to
the
right
bank,
finally!
You
can
imagine
that
all
the
thugs
were
singing
at
the
top
of
their
lungs:
the
stork
is
back.
Notre
rouquin
préféré
va
à
sa
rencontre.
Mais
alors
quelle
déception,
elle
avait
quelques
heures
de
vol,
normal
pour
une
cigogne,
et
un
peu
déplumée.
Our
favorite
redhead
goes
to
meet
her.
But
what
a
disappointment,
she
had
a
few
hours
of
flight,
normal
for
a
stork,
and
a
little
plucked.
Bon,
sympa,
la
p'tite
rouille
l'invite
à
grailler
quand
même
mais
avec
une
idée
derrière
la
tête.
Well,
nice,
the
little
rust
bucket
invites
her
to
eat
anyway
but
with
an
idea
behind
her
head.
Déjà
à
l'apéro:
cacahuètes,
olives,
tomates
cerises,
et
en
flux
au
plat
de
résistance
des
lentilles,
le
grand
échassier
devenait
complètement
folle,
elle
n'arrêtait
pas
de
jouer
à
Pique-à-Rome
dans
son
assiette,
elle
se
dit
tu
vas
voir
je
vais
m'
venger!
Already
at
the
aperitif:
peanuts,
olives,
cherry
tomatoes,
and
flowing
to
the
dish
of
resistance
lentils,
the
big
wader
was
going
completely
crazy,
she
kept
playing
pick-up
sticks
in
her
plate,
she
said
to
herself
you'll
see
I'll
get
my
revenge!
La
pimbêche
aux
genoux
de
coucou
avait
préparé
son
coup
de
Jarnac.
Un
jour
le
renard
argenté
(normal,
il
avait
pris
de
la
bouteille)
se
pointe
chez
la
grande
gecke,
sur
la
table
il
n'y
avait
que
des
tupperware
à
col
étroit
et
dedans
son
plat
préféré
à
la
rouille:
des
pouloud
avec
des
nouilles!
Impossibeul
de
mettre
son
museau
dedans,
alors
pour
oublier
il
commence
à
s'
arsouiller,
à
mettre
dans
son
tarbouif
quoi!
Il
a
bu
tellement
de
pinard
qu'il
a
balancé
une
queue
de
renard
et
dépôt
de
gerbe
sur
le
palier.
The
chick
with
the
knees
of
a
cuckoo
had
prepared
her
coup
de
Jarnac.
One
day
the
silver
fox
(normal,
he
had
aged)
shows
up
at
the
big
gecke's,
on
the
table
there
was
nothing
but
narrow-necked
tupperware
and
inside
his
favorite
rust
dish:
pouloud
with
noodles!
Impossible
to
put
his
snout
in
it,
so
to
forget
he
starts
to
get
drunk,
to
put
it
in
his
gourd!
He
drank
so
much
wine
that
he
threw
up
a
fox's
tail
and
left
a
deposit
of
vomit
on
the
landing.
Si
tu
fais
un
repas
de
cigogne
la
veille,
t'es
sûr
de
faire
une
omelette
de
docker
le
lendemain!
If
you
have
a
stork
meal
the
day
before,
you're
sure
to
make
a
docker
omelet
the
next
day!
Allez,
salut
les
poteaux!
Come
on,
bye
bye!
