На опушку девка выйдет
За цветком наклонится

Всей душой потянется
И начнется жизнь у них мирная уютная

Between the oak trunks I lie
Peaceful and warm am I

How I sprout as grass, with blue cornflowers strong
A maiden will come to the edge of the wood
For a flower she'll bend down, as she should
White bones she'll see laid bare

From flowers, a wreath she'll weave, and crown her head so fair
And to her beloved, through the oak forest, she'll tread
To her beloved she'll come at last
