The

a
divan
of
our

التي

ما
سلام
ما
قلتها
اطماع
وشهره
من
وراه
What
is
not
a
wish,
a
longing
for
fame
قلتها
داوي
جروح
البشر
واهاتها
I
have
said
it
to
heal
the
wounds
of
the
people
and
their
cries
كيف
يطمح
فيه
واحد
ذكر
جده
واباه
How
can
anyone
aspire
to
it
who
mentions
his
grandfather
and
his
father
صنعت
مكانته
من
عضل
وقفاتها
He
has
made
his
place
from
his
muscle
and
his
stances

ليس
مثل
قصيده
ترفع
مستواه
There
is
no
poem
like
raising
his
level
لو
من
المرجان
واللؤلؤ
صيغت
ابياتها
Even
if
its
verses
were
made
of
coral
and
pearls
كم
صغير
بالعمر
وصل
للعالم
لباه
How
many
young
people
have
reached
the
world's
attention
وصادم
بهامته
ناس
لها
هاماتها
And
have
shocked
those
who
have
the
highest
positions
بالمكارم
تصنع
اسمه
من
افواه
الرواة
With
his
good
deeds,
he
makes
his
name
from
the
mouths
of
narrators
وغيره
اصنع
حسب
داخل
عقاراتها
And
others
make
it
according
to
what
is
inside
their
dwellings
لو
عمينا
العين
وش
لون،
وش
لون
If
our
eyes
were
blinded,
how
would
we
نكتم
كل
فاه
والعرب
أكثر
ما
فيها
عدد
روادها
Gag
every
mouth,
when
the
Arabs
have
the
most
number
of
visitors
والربيع
الي
تناساه
ربيعه
ويش
بلاه
And
the
spring
that
my
spring
forgot,
what
is
wrong
with
it
غرته
دنياه
يوم
اكثرت
لذاتها
The
world
deceived
it
when
it
increased
its
pleasures
لا
الصديق
المصديق
يتحمل
له
خطاه
Not
even
his
closest
friend
can
bear
his
mistakes
والاصدقاء
مع
بعضها
حسب
نياتها
And
friends
with
each
other
according
to
their
intentions

والبني
ادم
كل
واحد
حسب
ما
الله
عطاه
Every
person
is
given
according
to
what
God
has
given
him
سيئات
الناس
ماهي
مثل
حسناتها
People's
bad
deeds
are
not
like
their
good
deeds
والدول
مع
بعضها
لو
يصير
اشتباه
And
no
matter
how
much
countries
become
confused
التقدم
مصلحتها
على
ازماتها
Their
progress
is
more
important
than
their
crises
كم
نصحته
والنصيحه
من
المسلم
لخاه
How
many
times
have
I
advised
him,
and
advice
is
from
a
Muslim
to
his
brother
وقلت
له
يا
خلها
ولا
هاتها
And
I
told
him
to
either
keep
it
or
leave
it
وإن
بعت
الود
و
الود
من
باعه
شراه
And
if
you
sell
love,
then
he
who
sells
it
will
buy
it
وعرفت
مشاعر
الناس
من،
من،
من
نظراتها
And
I
know
the
feelings
of
people
from
their,
from
their,
from
their
looks
السؤال
الي
يراودني
على
كل
الدجى
The
question
that
haunts
me
all
night
long
عند
مثلك
سلعة
الطيب
كم
دفعاتها
How
many
times
have
you
paid
for
your
kindness
لا
تحسب
الكل
جافي
بكت
عيني
جفا
Do
not
think
that
everyone
is
harsh,
my
eyes
cried
of
harshness
لي
مقاماتي
وللناس
مقاماتها
I
have
my
own
positions
and
people
have
their
own
positions
شخص
من
غلى
بعده
تشتت
الانتباه
A
person
whose
distance
has
caused
a
lot
of
distraction
وشخص
لا
من
غاب
نفسك
تحس
بذاتها
And
a
person
whose
absence
makes
you
feel
yourself
ناس
نبيكها
انا
وهي
على
قيد
الحياه
Some
people
we
want
alive
وناس
ما
يأثر
علينا
خبر
وفاتها
And
some
people's
news
of
death
does
not
affect
us
