Mother earth, from the day of my birth you have
Maintained and sustained me,
And not just me, but all of humanity,
Feeding and healing both physically and mentally
Having the ability to also strengthen me,
But all that I can see sometimes is the dirt beneath me.

Our red Indian brothers say
"We will kill the earth one day"
If we don't pay heed to the damage we are doing.
Don't ruin her.
They say her heart will cease to beat
Because of how we treat her
One day soon,
There will be no more wood to light your heater.

Just step and take the time to see the beauty of her.
The trees that grow,
Above the ground the food that grows beneath her.
When will you realise and see,
When she has gone?
There will be no more human life
Not one to carry on

Terre Mère, depuis le jour de ma naissance, tu m'
As maintenu et soutenu,
Et pas seulement moi, mais toute l'humanité,
Nourrissant et guérissant à la fois physiquement et mentalement
Ayant la capacité de me renforcer aussi,
Mais tout ce que je peux voir parfois, c'est la saleté sous mes pieds.

Nos frères indiens rouges disent
"Nous tuerons la terre un jour"
Si nous ne prêtons pas attention aux dommages que nous lui faisons.
Ne la ruine pas.
Ils disent que son cœur cessera de battre
À cause de la façon dont nous la traitons
Un jour bientôt,
Il n'y aura plus de bois pour allumer ton chauffage.

Il suffit de s'arrêter et de prendre le temps de voir sa beauté.
Les arbres qui poussent,
Au-dessus du sol, la nourriture qui pousse sous elle.
Quand réaliseras-tu et verras-tu,
Quand elle sera partie ?
Il n'y aura plus de vie humaine
Pas une seule pour continuer
