Vous savez, si vous écoutez cet album, vous entendrez ma femme,
Amber, un peu partout sur certaines de ces chansons.
Et je sais qu'elle a eu une certaine influence
quand j'écrivais la suivante, alors
parlons de "Dans Ma Tête".

Honnêtement, le sens littéral pour moi était...
pendant les périodes de ma vie où ma femme n'était pas encore revenue,
vous savez, elle était toujours dans ma tête.
Dans n'importe quelle situation où je me trouvais,
concernant l'amour ou quelque chose de proche,
vous savez, elle était toujours ça pour moi.
La chanson elle-même peut être interprétée, je suppose,
vous savez, au premier degré, comme
parlant de quelqu'un que vous connaissez, et, quand vous le rencontrez pour la première fois
ou que vous passez du temps avec lui/elle, et qu'il/elle vous captive,
il/elle entre dans votre tête.
