مَا يُحتَمْل نصْف الفُرَاق مَا يُحتَمْل نصْف الزَعْل

قُصْر العْنَاق والّا التعْقُّل فِي الغَزل هو حُب مَا منْه
إنعْتَاق ومَا فِيه عَادِي أو مَلّل
إضْرَام حدّ الإحْترَاق مَا أجْمَلّه مَا يُحتَمْل

إن طَاب لّك وقْتَك ورَاق عنْ غِير فَرحَك لا تَسَل
هو عُمْر وَاحدْ فِي سِبَاق معْنَا ولّه وقْت وأجَل
هو حُب وَاحد لا يُذِاقْ مثْلّه مَرارتْه العَسْل
هو إنْطلاّق الإنْطلاّق وأقْصَى تَهُوّر بالمَهَل
هو إشْتِيَاق الإشْتِيَاق وأحْضَان خلّك لَك مَحل
حُرّيته شـَـد الوثَاق يسْعدَك قِيده لّلأزل مَافِيه
مَا وجهٍ يُراق بينَ الأحبّة وْلا وَجَل إمّا
كِذا والّا الفُرَاق والّلي أسَاسَاً قْد حَصل
