Before the Dawn of Time

Before the dawn of time,
There was neither sky nor earth,
Just a boundless, blue sea,
And in its midst, a verdant maple tree.

On the maple tree, three doves.
They pondered the creation of the world,
How to bring it forth, and they devised a plan:
Let us dive to the bottom of the sea,
And gather fine grains of sand.

We will sow the tiny grains,
And it will transform into fertile earth.
Let us retrieve a stone of gold,
And sow it too,
And it will become the radiant sky.

The brilliant sky, the golden sun,
The shimmering moon, the sparkling stars,
The radiant constellations.
And so, the world was born.
