As we gaze up at the flames, why do you weep?
Embers fall like snow.

Flickering firelight, dancing across your profile,
Burning, burning, burning, the torches burn.

Hearing the name of a woman in blue robes in the death register,
The scent of you wafts around me.
Here, within the women's exclusion zone, you stand outside the lattice,
