Damuwa ki rike daure idanuwanki subar 'kwalla

Komai baiman dadi a duniyar da nake zaune
Lamaringa da na kalla abin yana 'konan raina
Yau ni Ihsan malam a dole ne nayo 'kwalla

Yanayi yai sauyawa yau da gobe ta Allah
Zaman Duniya a kullun mai hakuri shike yo dace
Ga wasu nan na wanawa da lafiya wasu na nan kwance

Lamarina kowanne ga Rabbana na mika shi
Dan shine mai Komai shi zai nufeni na dau dashi

Shi zana rike wata rana nima nazama abin kalla

Oh Allah, the King! I observe the world and its contents.

Nothing is pleasant in the world I inhabit.

Situations change, today and tomorrow, by Allah's will.
Life in this world, the patient always prevail.
Some are healthy and thriving, while others lie ill.
While one rejoices, another sheds tears.

It's as if I too am powerless.
My condition is dire; I cannot even walk.
Deep within my heart, my only solace is my mother.
The sun is scorching, Inuwa burns, what shall I face today?
