لم تجر دمعته عشية ودعك
ما عدت تحزنه فوفر ادمعك
يدري بانك كنت تخدع صدقه
و بقدر علمك انه لن يخدعك
لا ترم صوتك في دروب رحيله
ما عاد في مقدوره ان يسمعك
لملم جراحك لم يعد لك ضحكة
تغري ولا جفن يصدق ادمعك
يكفي لقد اكل الشتاء حروفه
حطبا ليدفء بالقصايد اضلعك
ارضيت نفسك و انتصرت لطينها
و غرزت في عين المحبة اصبعك
فالان مت غادر دفاتر شعره
ضيعته فقسي عليك و ضيعك
وسينبت النسيان بين جوانح
لم يستطع بضفافها ان يزرعك
لم تجر دمعته عشية ودعك
ما عدت تحزنه فوفر ادمعك
يدري بانك كنت تخدع صدقه
وبقدر علمك انه لن يخدعك
هو راحل لا تنتظر تبريره
ما عاد ضمن همومه ان يقنعك
يكفيه ان الله يعلم صدقه
و ستصرخ الدنيا له ما اروعك

Tears of Deception

Your tears didn't flow on the evening of your farewell
You no longer sadden him, so spare your tears
He knows that you deceived his trust
And as you well know, he will not be deceived
Don't waste your voice on his departing footsteps
He can no longer hear you
Heal your wounds, for your laughter is gone
There is no alluring smile, no eyelid that believes your tears
Winter has devoured his words
Using them as firewood to warm his aching ribs
You satisfied yourself and triumphed over your virtue
And plunged your finger into the eye of love
Now die, abandon the pages of his poetry
You lost him, so torment yourself and let him lose you
And oblivion will grow between your ribs
Unable to take root on its banks
Your tears didn't flow on the evening of your farewell

He knows that you deceived his trust
And as you well know, he will not be deceived
He is leaving, do not expect justification
Convincing you is no longer among his concerns
It is enough for him that God knows his truth
