Reit mich mit Werbung aus dem Traum
Ich wirke ungepflegt und garstig
Ohne den soften Badeschaum
Mein Goldfisch kriegt die falsche Nahrung
Die saubere Wsche starrt vor Schmutz
Jawoll ich bin ein Rabenvater
Denn ich kauf Windeln mit dem alten Nsseschutz
Beschmt schleich' ich mich in die Dusche

Ganz ohne Spannkraft nass und schlapp

Wie soll ich damit weiter leben?
Wie komm ich ber diesen Tag
Wenn mich die Grauschleier umgeben
Und mein Chef meinen Kaffee nicht mag?

Tagsber qulen mich die Zweifel
Hab' ich schon Fltchen im Gesicht?
Ich knnte schwr'n, ich hab' auch Schuppen

Werd' ich beim Knotentest versagen?
Wie magenfreundlich wirke ich?
Ich spr's, ich krieg die Trockenstarre

Dann abends, ich sitz' auf dem Sofa
Und warte auf den groen Preis
Die Werbung luft, und jemand sagt mir
Ihr Hemd ist rein, tja, aber nicht wei

Und steckt es strahlend in den Mund
Ich armer Hund hab' eig'ne Zhne und die sind leider noch vollstndig
Und ich frchte auch fast alle noch gesund

Wie soll ich damit weiterleben?

Ohne nach frischwrts abzuheben
Und ohne Haarausfall und Zahnbelag?

Das Quiz beginnt, da kommt der Champion
- OHH - der wei alles ganz genau
Aber sein Hemd ist nicht aprilfrisch
Und auch sein Wei ist eher grau
Sein Haar ist wuschig, stumpf und strhnig
Und auf der Strin steht ihm der Schwei
Und sicher riecht er wie ein Iltis
Aber fantastisch was der Bursche alles wei
Der Kerl der nimmt mir die Komplexe
Warum hatt' ich die eigentlich?
Ab heut' ist Schlu mit dem Theater
Ab heut' riech ich nur noch wie ich
Und ich seh' aus, wie ich halt ausseh'
Und schwitz wenn's sein soll wie ein Tier
Und kauf' den Kaffee ohne Gtesiegel und den Pudding ohne Farbstoff
Und das schrubbelige Toilettenpapier

Ja damit kann ich weiterleben
So komm' ich ber jeden Tag
Und wer mich mag, der mag mich eben
Auch wenn ich nicht die neue Slipeinlage trag'
Und ist mein weier Kragen schwarz wie Ru

Quarter past six, the radio alarm
Yanks me from my dreams with ads
I seem unkempt and rather grim
Without that soft and foamy bath
My goldfish gets the wrong kind of food
The clean laundry stares, filled with dirt
Yes, I'm a raven father, it's true
Cause I buy diapers with the old wetness protection too
Ashamed, I sneak into the shower
Because I have the wrong kind of soap
And my shampoo washes my hair
All limp and wet, without a bit of hope
My chin is not silky smooth
My shirt is white, but not quite clean
Because my wife traded her detergent
For double the amount of a different washing scene

How can I go on living like this?
How will I get through this day
When gray shadows surround me
And my boss doesn't like my coffee, they say?
My whole self-confidence is mush

Doubts torment me all day long
