Der Song "So schön kaputt" ist, äh, unsre erste Radiosingle vom neuen Album
Das' im Prinzip eine große Hymne aufs Leben, aber eben nicht aufs vermeintlich perfekte Leben
Oder es ist kein Song darüber, dass man den vermeintlich perfekten Moment im Leben anstrebt
Sondern bei dem Song geht's viel mehr darum, dass das Leben eigentlich ein Auf und Ab ist
Nicht immer alles perfekt ist, wir nicht perfekt sind
Aber auch irgendwie eigentlich gar nicht perfekt sein woll'n
Und dass das vielleicht ja grade das Lebenswerte ist und das Schöne im Leben ist
Und vielleicht sogar dass das Perfekte ist am Leben

Natürlich ist es ja auch keine krasse Offenbarung, dass im Leben nicht alles perfekt läuft
Und irgendwie so auch die Fehler ein'n prägen
Aber uns ist aufgefall'n, dass ganz viele Songs, die es so gibt, gerade im Deutschen
Eben das Leben feiern woll'n und dazu anscheinend immer so tun müssen als wär das Leben so perfekt
Zumindest, solange man den Song hört oder so
Und wir wollten einfach 'n Song machen der genau das Hochgefühl feiert
Aber eben genauso wie das Leben halt irgendwie ist, vielleicht ist's uns 'n bisschen gelung'n
Ich hoffe, ein bisschen

The song "So schön kaputt," darling, is, uh, our first radio single from the new album.
It's basically a big anthem to life, but not to the supposedly perfect life.
Or rather, it's not a song about striving for the supposedly perfect moment in life.
Instead, the song is much more about the fact that life is actually full of ups and downs.
That not everything is always perfect, that we aren't perfect.
But also that we don't really want to be perfect anyway.
And that maybe that's precisely what makes life worth living, what's beautiful about life.
And maybe even that that's the perfect thing about life.

Of course, it's not a huge revelation that not everything in life goes perfectly.
And that somehow the mistakes also shape us.
But we've noticed that a lot of songs out there, especially in German,
Want to celebrate life and, to do so, seem to always have to pretend that life is so perfect.
At least, as long as you're listening to the song or something.
And we just wanted to make a song that celebrates that feeling of euphoria,
But just as life is, you know? Maybe we succeeded a little bit.
I hope, a little bit.
