I bow down with my head to Lord Ganapati, the son of Gauri |
May devotees remember Him always for longevity and fulfillment of desires
First, Vakratunda; second, Ekdanta |
Third, Krushnapingaksha; fourth, Gajvaktra
Fifth, Lambodara; sixth, Vikata |
Seventh, Vighnrajendra; eighth, Dhumravarna
Ninth, Bhalchandra; tenth, Vinayaka |
Eleventh, Ganapati; twelfth, Gajananam
Whoever recites these twelve names three times a day |
Will face no obstacles and will attain all success
A student will gain knowledge, and a seeker of wealth will gain wealth |
Those seeking children will have children, and those seeking liberation will attain it
Chant the Ganapati stotra for six months and reap the benefits |
Within a year, you will attain perfection, without a doubt
By writing these names to eight Brahmins and offering them |
You will gain all knowledge through the grace of Ganesha
