The flag of Konpira, a welcome sight.
With wishes in my heart, the steps I climb,
Sanuki Fuji reveals itself in time.
Life's journey, step by step we go,
Cherishing each moment, sure and slow.
Though it seems long, this life we lead,
Is but a fleeting picture show, indeed.
Konpira ships, with sails unfurled and free,
On the tree of compassion, blossoms we see.

Awa Odori, Shikoku's famed delight,
The dancing fool, the watching fool, so bright.
If fools we are, then hand in hand let's be,
A gentle pull, a shared humanity.
If life's a tear, then let it freely flow,
But laughter's better, watch good fortune grow.
A parent's wisdom, eggplant flowers in bloom,
The spirit of our elders fills the room.
Konpira ships, shamisen's gentle sound,
Collars straight, awaiting spring around.

To climb these long stone steps, so steep and high,
A single walking stick, a needed ally.
When gratitude awakens in my soul,
The ocean god smiles down, making me whole.
Stumbling, falling, rising once again,
