Al Qamar

بِسْمِ اللَّـهِ الرَّحْمَـٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ

اقْتَرَبَتِ السَّاعَةُ وَانشَقَّ الْقَمَرُ(1)
وَإِن يَرَوْا آيَةً يُعْرِضُوا وَيَقُولُوا سِحْرٌ مُّسْتَمِرٌّ(2)
وَكَذَّبُوا وَاتَّبَعُوا أَهْوَاءَهُمْ ۚ وَكُلُّ أَمْرٍ مُّسْتَقِرٌّ(3)
وَلَقَدْ جَاءَهُم مِّنَ الْأَنبَاءِ مَا فِيهِ مُزْدَجَرٌ(4)
حِكْمَةٌ بَالِغَةٌ ۖ فَمَا تُغْنِ النُّذُرُ(5)
فَتَوَلَّ عَنْهُمْ ۘ يَوْمَ يَدْعُ الدَّاعِ إِلَىٰ شَيْءٍ نُّكُرٍ(6)
خُشَّعًا أَبْصَارُهُمْ يَخْرُجُونَ مِنَ الْأَجْدَاثِ كَأَنَّهُمْ جَرَادٌ مُّنتَشِرٌ(7)
مُّهْطِعِينَ إِلَى الدَّاعِ ۖ يَقُولُ الْكَافِرُونَ هَٰذَا يَوْمٌ عَسِرٌ(8)
۞ كَذَّبَتْ قَبْلَهُمْ قَوْمُ نُوحٍ فَكَذَّبُوا عَبْدَنَا وَقَالُوا مَجْنُونٌ وَازْدُجِرَ(9)
فَدَعَا رَبَّهُ أَنِّي مَغْلُوبٌ فَانتَصِرْ(10)
فَفَتَحْنَا أَبْوَابَ السَّمَاءِ بِمَاءٍ مُّنْهَمِرٍ(11)
وَفَجَّرْنَا الْأَرْضَ عُيُونًا فَالْتَقَى الْمَاءُ عَلَىٰ أَمْرٍ قَدْ قُدِرَ(12)
وَحَمَلْنَاهُ عَلَىٰ ذَاتِ أَلْوَاحٍ وَدُسُرٍ(13)
تَجْرِي بِأَعْيُنِنَا جَزَاءً لِّمَن كَانَ كُفِرَ(14)
وَلَقَد تَّرَكْنَاهَا آيَةً فَهَلْ مِن مُّدَّكِرٍ(15)
فَكَيْفَ كَانَ عَذَابِي وَنُذُرِ(16)
وَلَقَدْ يَسَّرْنَا الْقُرْآنَ لِلذِّكْرِ فَهَلْ مِن مُّدَّكِرٍ(17)
كَذَّبَتْ عَادٌ فَكَيْفَ كَانَ عَذَابِي وَنُذُرِ(18)
إِنَّا أَرْسَلْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ رِيحًا صَرْصَرًا فِي يَوْمِ نَحْسٍ مُّسْتَمِرٍّ(19)
تَنزِعُ النَّاسَ كَأَنَّهُمْ أَعْجَازُ نَخْلٍ مُّنقَعِرٍ(20)
فَكَيْفَ كَانَ عَذَابِي وَنُذُرِ(21)
وَلَقَدْ يَسَّرْنَا الْقُرْآنَ لِلذِّكْرِ فَهَلْ مِن مُّدَّكِرٍ(22)
كَذَّبَتْ ثَمُودُ بِالنُّذُرِ(23)
فَقَالُوا أَبَشَرًا مِّنَّا وَاحِدًا نَّتَّبِعُهُ إِنَّا إِذًا لَّفِي ضَلَالٍ وَسُعُرٍ(24)
أَأُلْقِيَ الذِّكْرُ عَلَيْهِ مِن بَيْنِنَا بَلْ هُوَ كَذَّابٌ أَشِرٌ(25)
سَيَعْلَمُونَ غَدًا مَّنِ الْكَذَّابُ الْأَشِرُ(26)
إِنَّا مُرْسِلُو النَّاقَةِ فِتْنَةً لَّهُمْ فَارْتَقِبْهُمْ وَاصْطَبِرْ(27)
وَنَبِّئْهُمْ أَنَّ الْمَاءَ قِسْمَةٌ بَيْنَهُمْ ۖ كُلُّ شِرْبٍ مُّحْتَضَرٌ(28)
فَنَادَوْا صَاحِبَهُمْ فَتَعَاطَىٰ فَعَقَرَ(29)
فَكَيْفَ كَانَ عَذَابِي وَنُذُرِ(30)
إِنَّا أَرْسَلْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ صَيْحَةً وَاحِدَةً فَكَانُوا كَهَشِيمِ الْمُحْتَظِرِ(31)
وَلَقَدْ يَسَّرْنَا الْقُرْآنَ لِلذِّكْرِ فَهَلْ مِن مُّدَّكِرٍ(32)
كَذَّبَتْ قَوْمُ لُوطٍ بِالنُّذُرِ(33)
إِنَّا أَرْسَلْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ حَاصِبًا إِلَّا آلَ لُوطٍ ۖ نَّجَّيْنَاهُم بِسَحَرٍ(34)
نِّعْمَةً مِّنْ عِندِنَا ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِي مَن شَكَرَ(35)
وَلَقَدْ أَنذَرَهُم بَطْشَتَنَا فَتَمَارَوْا بِالنُّذُرِ(36)
وَلَقَدْ رَاوَدُوهُ عَن ضَيْفِهِ فَطَمَسْنَا أَعْيُنَهُمْ فَذُوقُوا عَذَابِي وَنُذُرِ(37)
وَلَقَدْ صَبَّحَهُم بُكْرَةً عَذَابٌ مُّسْتَقِرٌّ(38)
فَذُوقُوا عَذَابِي وَنُذُرِ(39)
وَلَقَدْ يَسَّرْنَا الْقُرْآنَ لِلذِّكْرِ فَهَلْ مِن مُّدَّكِرٍ(40)
وَلَقَدْ جَاءَ آلَ فِرْعَوْنَ النُّذُرُ(41)
كَذَّبُوا بِآيَاتِنَا كُلِّهَا فَأَخَذْنَاهُمْ أَخْذَ عَزِيزٍ مُّقْتَدِرٍ(42)
أَكُفَّارُكُمْ خَيْرٌ مِّنْ أُولَٰئِكُمْ أَمْ لَكُم بَرَاءَةٌ فِي الزُّبُرِ(43)
أَمْ يَقُولُونَ نَحْنُ جَمِيعٌ مُّنتَصِرٌ(44)
سَيُهْزَمُ الْجَمْعُ وَيُوَلُّونَ الدُّبُرَ(45)
بَلِ السَّاعَةُ مَوْعِدُهُمْ وَالسَّاعَةُ أَدْهَىٰ وَأَمَرُّ(46)
إِنَّ الْمُجْرِمِينَ فِي ضَلَالٍ وَسُعُرٍ(47)
يَوْمَ يُسْحَبُونَ فِي النَّارِ عَلَىٰ وُجُوهِهِمْ ذُوقُوا مَسَّ سَقَرَ(48)
إِنَّا كُلَّ شَيْءٍ خَلَقْنَاهُ بِقَدَرٍ(49)
وَمَا أَمْرُنَا إِلَّا وَاحِدَةٌ كَلَمْحٍ بِالْبَصَرِ(50)
وَلَقَدْ أَهْلَكْنَا أَشْيَاعَكُمْ فَهَلْ مِن مُّدَّكِرٍ(51)
وَكُلُّ شَيْءٍ فَعَلُوهُ فِي الزُّبُرِ(52)
وَكُلُّ صَغِيرٍ وَكَبِيرٍ مُّسْتَطَرٌ(53)
إِنَّ الْمُتَّقِينَ فِي جَنَّاتٍ وَنَهَرٍ(54)
فِي مَقْعَدِ صِدْقٍ عِندَ مَلِيكٍ مُّقْتَدِرٍ(55)

Al Qamar

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

The Hour (of Judgement) is nigh, and the moon is cleft asunder.(1)
And if they see a sign, they turn away, and say, "This is (but) transient magic."(2)
And they denied (the truth) and followed their own lusts. But every matter has its settled term.(3)
And indeed, there has come to them of news such as contains a deterrent (to evil).(4)
Perfect wisdom (it is), but warnings avail not.(5)
So turn away from them (O Muhammad). The Day the Caller will call (them) to a terrible affair,(6)
Their eyes humbled, they will emerge from the graves as if they were locusts scattered abroad,(7)
Hastening towards the Caller. The disbelievers will say, "This is a hard Day."(8)
۞ The people of Noah denied before them, and they rejected Our servant and said, "He is a madman," and he was driven out (with threats).(9)
So he invoked his Lord, "Indeed, I am overpowered, so help (me)."(10)
So We opened the gates of the heavens with pouring rain,(11)
And caused the earth to burst with springs, and the waters met for a matter already decreed.(12)
And We carried him on a (ship) made of planks and nails,(13)
Floating under Our eyes, a reward for him who had been rejected!(14)
And indeed, We have left it as a sign, so is there any who will remember?(15)
Then how (terrible) was My punishment and My warnings?(16)
And indeed, We have made the Qur'an easy to remember, so is there any who will remember?(17)
'Aad denied (the truth), so how (terrible) was My punishment and My warnings?(18)
Indeed, We sent upon them a screaming wind during a day of continuous misfortune,(19)
Snatching the people as if they were uprooted trunks of palm trees.(20)
So how (terrible) was My punishment and My warnings?(21)
And indeed, We have made the Qur'an easy to remember, so is there any who will remember?(22)
Thamud denied the warnings,(23)
And they said, "Shall we follow a single man from among ourselves? Indeed, we then would be in manifest error and madness.(24)
Has the message been sent down to him out of all of us? Nay, he is a liar and an insolent one."(25)
They will know tomorrow who is the liar, the insolent one.(26)
Indeed, We are sending the she-camel as a trial for them, so watch them and be patient.(27)
And inform them that the water is to be divided between them; each one's right to drink is to be respected.(28)
But they called their companion, and he took (a sword) and hamstrung (her).(29)
So how (terrible) was My punishment and My warnings?(30)
Indeed, We sent upon them a single [blast], and they became like the dry stubble of an enclosure.(31)
And indeed, We have made the Qur'an easy to remember, so is there any who will remember?(32)
The people of Lot denied the warnings.(33)
Indeed, We sent upon them a storm of stones, except the family of Lot - We delivered them before dawn.(34)
A favor from Us. Thus do We reward he who gives thanks.(35)
And he had certainly warned them of Our punishment, but they disputed about the warnings.(36)
And indeed, they had approached him about his guests, but We blinded their eyes. So taste My punishment and My warnings.(37)
And indeed, there came upon them in the morning a lasting punishment.(38)
So taste My punishment and My warnings.(39)
And indeed, We have made the Qur'an easy to remember, so is there any who will remember?(40)
And indeed, the warnings came to the people of Pharaoh.(41)
They denied all Our signs, so We seized them with a seizure of one Exalted in Might, Powerful.(42)
Are your disbelievers better than those [disbelievers]? Or do you have an exemption written in the Scriptures?(43)
Or do they say, "We are a collective [force], so we will surely be victorious?"(44)
The collective [force] will surely be defeated and they will turn their backs [in retreat].(45)
Rather, the Hour is their appointment, and the Hour is more disastrous and more bitter.(46)
Indeed, the criminals are in error and madness.(47)
The Day they are dragged on their faces into the Fire, [it will be said], "Taste the touch of Saqar."(48)
Indeed, We have created every [thing] in measure.(49)
And Our command is but one, like a glance of the eye.(50)
And We have certainly destroyed those like you, so is there any who will remember?(51)
And all that they did is in the Registers.(52)
And every small and great [thing] is recorded.(53)
Indeed, the righteous will be among gardens and rivers,(54)
In a seat of truth, near a Sovereign, Perfect in Power.(55)
