Istemeden büyüdüm içimdeki bu öfke misali
Herkes gri der bu şehre fakat gözleri mavi
Ve ben bayramlıgımla top oynamayı özledim abi

Annem eve çagırdı,mahalle bakkalıyla helalleştim
Ve yorgun dizlerimde mecal yokken her an geçtim
En dik yokuşlarından bu şehrin; ne başardım,ne vazgeçtim
Fakat zaman geçti

20'ler kayıp ruhlar ortasında aidiyet pazarı
Şımarık çocukların içine dogdugu şu parlak galibiyet kazanından
Payımı almak istemiştim kabiliyet kazanıp
Onlar yazarken tarihi hep

Bir izim kalsın dedim en azından duvarda
Artık boşalmıyor hafızam dolmayınca şu bardak
Biletimi yırtanlar dedi "allah yukarda"
Ve o allah'a inancımı katlettiler bu garda

Brother Gökdeniz

I was just a kid when you left this city, Brother Gökdeniz.
I grew up unwillingly, like the anger inside me.
Everyone calls this city gray, but its eyes are blue.
And I miss playing ball in my holiday best, brother.

My mom called me home, I said goodbye to the corner store owner.
And with tired knees, I passed every moment with no strength left.
On the steepest hills of this city; what did I achieve, what did I give up?
But time passed.

The 20s, a market of belonging amidst lost souls.
From that shining cauldron of victory where spoiled children are born.
I wanted to get my share by gaining ability.
While they were always writing history.

I said, let me leave at least a mark on the wall.
My memory doesn't empty anymore until this glass is full.
Those who tore my ticket said, "God is above."
And they slaughtered my faith in that God at this station.
