Остановка вне графика на полпути,
Горизонт перечёркнутый, насыпь песчаная.

Здесь так ясно, так ветрено,
Не шумно, не суетно,
В голове так свободно без мыслей тревожных.
Уходя в акварельные тихие сумерки,
Я оставлю в траве свою тяжкую ношу.

Куда б ты ни ехал, в какие бы дали,
С каким багажом — всё равно.
Все рельсы и линии, все магистрали
Ведут тебя к цели одной.

А вокруг бескрайняя степь,

Только птицы тонут в небесной реке.
Дальше я отправлюсь пешком,
Выронив ненужный билет,
Дальше я пойду сквозь туман налегке.

Океан изумрудный, колосья ячменные,
Время зыбкой вуалью по ветру струится.
Облака над равниною проплывают так медленно,
Многоликое солнце встаёт и садится.

Эту случайную тихую станцию
Буду я благодарить,
И, попрощавшись с ненужным,
Оставлю всё ценное где-то внутри.

А вокруг бескрайняя степь,

Дальше я отправлюсь пешком,
Выронив ненужный билет,

Light as a Feather

Unscheduled stop mid-journey,
Striked-through horizon, sandy embankment.
I have awakened from suffocating reveries, to suddenly feel:
Nothing that happens to us is by chance.

I will step out at the quiet little station
And vanish without a trace,
I will watch as the expresses race by
Past me as trains.

And all around, the boundless steppe,
Only the grasses sway low to the ground,
Only the birds sink into the celestial river.
I will then set off on foot,
Dropping the useless ticket,
I will then go through the fog light as a feather.

Here it is so clear, so windy,
Not loud, not bustling,
My head is so free without anxious thoughts.
Departing into the quiet watercolor twilight,
I will leave my heavy burden in the grass.

Wherever you may be traveling, to what distant lands,
With what baggage — it makes no difference at all.
All tracks and lines, all freeways
Lead you to one destination.

Emerald ocean, barley stalks,
Time flows in a swaying veil with the wind.
Over the plain, the clouds float so slowly,
The multi-faced sun rises and sets.

This chance quiet station
I will forever be grateful for,
And bidding farewell to what I don't need,
I will leave all that is valuable somewhere deep inside.
