Открывала рот и моргала она!

И поднялся с пола в тот же миг
Стала за ноги его кусать
Голова и он упал опять!
Прочь

Но всё сильней кусала злая голова
Мужика до слёз она довела

Чья-то тень мелькнула за окном
Безголовый тип ворвался в дом
Бошку беглую свою схватил
И себе на плечи посадил
Тут издал он крик
"Извини, мужик!"
И руками голову свою держа
Радосно смеясь, он убежал

Sudden Head (From the TV series "The King and the Jester")

A man heard a strange knock one evening,
At his door, a sound unsettling.
But as he stepped beyond the threshold,
Something knocked him off his feet, quite dreadful!
And he saw then,
Rolling into his den,
Rolling into his house, a head, alive and well,
Opening its mouth and blinking, a sight hard to tell!

"Well, I'll be," the man muttered in shock,
And rose from the floor in a tick-tock.
The head began to bite at his legs with might,
And he fell back down from the frightful sight!
Away!

But the vicious head bit ever so strong,
Bringing the man to tears, the ordeal seemed so long.

A shadow flickered just outside the pane,
A headless figure burst in, defying all strain.
He grabbed his runaway head in a flash,
And placed it on his shoulders, a gruesome dash.
Then he let out a cry,
"Sorry, old guy!"
And holding his head with both his hands,
He ran away laughing, a sight that astounds.
