И если день затмится ночью
И мрак затопит светлый край наш
То вражью тьму развеет в клочья
Блеск наших выстрелов разящих

А если зной обуглит день и
Обрушится свинцом кипящим
Что ж - мы укроемся под тенью
Своих клинков, в бою свистящих

Пусть мир взорвётся словно порох
Пусть рушатся в провалы горы
С неукротимостью во взорах
Мы Родину собой прикроем

Мы не уроним отчей чести
Пред самой необъятной силой
Непобеждённые и в смерти
Сойдём мужчинами в могилы

Но только прежде наши руки
Набросят завещаньем павших
Простреленные в битвах бурки
На плечи сыновей отважных

Чтоб имя нашего народа

Under the predawn lion's roar
From the depths of time, we came
To this world that is harsh on us

Since then, we have never bent
To anyone's will, our dignity intact
Down through the centuries, death or freedom
We have earned for ourselves in battle

Let the mountains of stone melt
In the fires of battle
But no horde in the world
Will bring us to our knees

And if night eclipses day
And darkness engulfs our bright land
Then the enemy's darkness will be shattered
By the brilliance of our deadly shots

And if the heat scorches the day and
Falls like boiling lead
Well, we will shelter under the shadow
Of our swords, whistling in battle

Let the world explode like gunpowder
Let the mountains crumble into chasms
With unyielding fury in our eyes
We will protect our homeland with our lives

We will not tarnish our fathers' honor
