لا تشتكي

لاتشتكي من جور الايَّـام لِلنَّـاس
وأدفن همومك في ثرى الصَّمت كلَّه

أسرار عمرك خلَّها تحت الأنفـاس
لاصار هـرَّاج القفـا فاطـنٍ لـه

هذاك يفرح لالِمس جرح الإحساس
وهذا مناهي لالقـى فيـك علَّـه

تعيش بالوجدان ماعـاش هالـراس
لولاك قل لي ويش أنا عايـشٍ لـه

إن زانت الايَّـام ياشـوق لابـاس
و إلاصبرنـا ليـن ربَّـك يحـلـه

Don't Complain

Don't complain about the cruelty of life to people,
And bury your worries in the depths of silence,

Keep the secrets of your life under your breath,
Because there are those who take delight in your pain,

They rejoice when they see you in emotional turmoil,
And they hope to find a way to exploit your vulnerability,

Live in your heart as long as your mind remains,
Tell me, if it weren't for you, what would be the purpose of my life?

If life is good, my love, then it's all right,
But if it's hard, then we must be patient until our Lord solves it,
