I listen to the dreamy boatman's song, the birds' sweet calls,
The blossom-strewn springtime in watery Suzhou,
And the willows weeping in sorrow.

The flowers float upon the flowing water,
And though I know not what the future holds,
Our reflections dance tonight, a fleeting sight,
Oh, may it linger forever in my heart.

In your hair, I'll place a flower, or shall I kiss your lips?
The peach blossom you plucked, I'll cherish it with care,
Beneath a moonlit sky, a gentle tear escapes,
And bells toll softly at the Hanshan Temple.
