And the whole point about the metaphor is we can't
We can't win by playing the game
That's right
My way of trying to understand
What it is to not play their game
And to shift over to, into a totally different game
To shift the culture, it's to steal the culture
The only thing I could get from history
That's been able to do that are religion
But for reasons I've articulated, I don't want
And it's not personally, I mean in terms of the functionality
I don't think the standard model
The axial age model of religion is going to do what we need
In order to steal the culture
As deeply as we need to steal it

que des meilleurs outils scientifiques pour concevoir les pratiques
et l'écologie des pratiques.

De ceux qui nous maltraitent
depuis si longtemps.
Et je ne parle généralement pas de politique,
parce que je pense que le cadre politique
est souvent une profonde déformation du problème,
du moins de la manière dont le discours politique
s'est en quelque sorte ossifié,
s'est en quelque sorte ossifié de manière à rendre le choix
plus vraiment pertinent.
Et tu sais, le christianisme a volé la culture
des élites.
Il est temps.

Et le but de la métaphore, c'est que nous ne pouvons pas,
nous ne pouvons pas gagner en jouant leur jeu.
C'est exact.
Ma façon d'essayer de comprendre
ce que c'est que de ne pas jouer leur jeu
et de passer à un jeu totalement différent,
de changer la culture, c'est de voler la culture.
La seule chose que j'ai pu tirer de l'histoire
qui a été capable de le faire, ce sont les religions.
Mais pour les raisons que j'ai évoquées, je ne veux pas,
et ce n'est pas personnel, je veux dire en termes de fonctionnalité,
je ne pense pas que le modèle standard,
le modèle axial de la religion, fera ce dont nous avons besoin
pour voler la culture
aussi profondément que nous devons la voler.
