Como de costumbre, hoy me toca la predicación
Me tomó tiempo el mensaje, para la congregación
Mis ovejas que me esperan, para que yo les predique
Solo espero que Dios me de fuerza y se glorifique

Pues confieso que ha sido una semana muy dura
Nadie piensa que tengo problema, pues por mi postura
Soy el que intercede y ora, ante sus desafíos
Pero casi nadie sabe, todos los problemas míos

Soy el que aconseja, soy el que trata de dar consuelo
Pero a veces necesito levantarme desde el suelo
Un consejo que me diga ¡No te quites y camina!
Pero muy pocos lo saben, casi nadie se imagina

Que tengo mis luchas, como todo ser humano pasa
Que he tenido pruebas, que han estremecido a mi casa
Que han habido días, donde me quebranto por dolor
Yo soy padre, soy esposo, soy el pastor

The Pastor

As usual, today it's my turn to preach
It took me time to craft the message, for the congregation
My sheep who await me, for me to preach to them
I only hope that God gives me strength and is glorified

For I confess it's been a very hard week
Nobody thinks I have problems, because of my posture
I am the one who intercedes and prays, before their challenges
But almost nobody knows, all my problems

I am the one who advises, I am the one who tries to give comfort
But sometimes I need to pick myself up from the ground
A word that tells me, "Don't give up and walk!"
But very few know it, almost nobody imagines

That I have my struggles, as every human being goes through
That I have had trials, that have shaken my home
That there have been days, where I break down from pain
I am a father, I am a husband, I am the pastor

It fills me with joy to see how people are restored
But I would be nothing, if it weren't for the source
That inspires me and encourages me to continue this journey
Despite the wounds, slander, and stabs in the back

I would give my life, so that my sheep may not die
But nobody expects to be accused and wounded behind their back
And to be judged and watch, as another seat empties
But they never ask me, "How am I? How do I feel?"

Although there are so many things that cause me pain
Every day, every night, I try to give my best
I seek guidance through the message of the Bible
And I try to balance, between the Church and my family

But God, my strength, encourages me from heaven
And I receive strength when I am prostrate, face to the ground

Only He knows the things that happen in secret
And without Him, it would be in vain to preach in another service

I am a Pastor, I am human, not exempt from problems
And above all, I do not hesitate and I present myself before the altar
And although at times I long to throw in the towel
I go and look at Jesus, He is my best role model

That before all the scorn, that overwhelmed his heart
Nothing stopped him from finishing his mission
And even though there are moments, when I think everything will end
I know that He who began the work will finish it

I honor the life of all those pastors
Who give their lives for their sheep
And sometimes they are not recognized
I honor my pastor
