Mike had a heart that's always lookin' out for others
He lived his life in humility showin' love to his brothers
Even when they did dirt & walked all over him
To Mike it wasn't bout the time wasted or even the dough that he spent
He pressed on, not saying that it was easy
But Mike had a goal of reaching the world with Jesus
He wouldn't let up or give in to compromise his vision
Knowing of his blessing this is what God intended
All about the Gospel, ain't no other life for Mike
He could've taught anything but he only took that mic for Christ
Mike's a warrior the kind that will ride for life
Lord help us see with the same eyes as Mike
To rise from the slumber of our ignorance
Your fight is the one that makes a difference
As we strive for a love that don't exist in us
It is Christ who is righteous that gives vision to us

See it from God's perspective it really seems wack

Mike's dream was simply to glorify
The Lord on high and lead more to Christ
Mike became founder of Praise Chapel Fellowship
His whole family caught his vision
Jumped up on the battleship
Sad for me to say that he passed on
Today it's over 4,000 Praise Chapels
Mike's dreams stands strong
And who the one you think they stand on?
Haven't you heard? The word stand more firm than a backbone
He's planted seeds my friend
Now let it grow rite there
You thought your dreams were pretend but they overcome the nitemares

And a vision appeared to Paul in the night
A man of Macedonia was standing there urging him & saying
Come over to Macedonia & help us
And when Paul had seen the vision
Immediately he sought to go into Macedonia
Concluding that God had called us to preach the Gospel to them
See, church, there's a dying world out there
And God has got to put dreams in your heart
So that you can go out there and preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ

Mike hatte ein Herz, das stets nach anderen Ausschau hielt
Er lebte sein Leben in Demut und zeigte Liebe zu seinen Brüdern
Selbst wenn sie ihn hintergingen und mit Füßen traten
Für Mike ging es nicht um verschwendete Zeit oder das ausgegebene Geld
Er kämpfte weiter, nicht dass es einfach gewesen wäre
Doch Mike hatte ein Ziel: die Welt mit Jesus zu erreichen
Er gab nicht nach oder kompromittierte seine Vision
Wissend um seinen Segen, war dies Gottes Absicht
Alles für das Evangelium, kein anderes Leben für Mike
Er hätte alles lehren können, doch er nahm nur das Mikro für Christus
Mike ist ein Kämpfer, der Art, die ein Leben lang hält
Herr, hilf uns, mit den gleichen Augen wie Mike zu sehen
Aufzustehen aus dem Schlaf unserer Unwissenheit
Dein Kampf ist der, der einen Unterschied macht
Während wir uns nach einer Liebe sehnen, die nicht in uns existiert
Es ist Christus, der gerecht ist, der uns Visionen gibt

Mikes Traum war einfach, den Herrn zu verherrlichen
Den höchsten Herrn und mehr zu Christus zu führen
Mike gründete Praise Chapel Fellowship
Seine ganze Familie erfasste seine Vision
Sprang auf das Schlachtschiff
Traurig für mich zu sagen, dass er verstarb
Heute gibt es über 4.000 Praise Chapels
Mikes Traum steht stark
Und auf wem, denkst du, stehen sie?
Hast du nicht gehört? Das Wort steht fester als ein Rückgrat
Er säte Samen, mein Freund
Lass sie jetzt dort wachsen

In der Gewissheit, dass Gott uns rief, ihnen das Evangelium zu predigen
