The Faithful Preacher

A noise in the air was heard
It sounded like a party in the village square
Curious people hurried to see
The reason for such a great festival

They asked each other: This time, what will it be?
What has the great man decreed for his people?
Curiously they went to the feast and when they arrived

Pain and death of a man who only did good

They drove that man out of the city and took him to the executioner
But full of the power of God, the man arrived there
In prayer to God the man looked up to heaven

I see my Jesus, I see him standing at the right hand of God
But not even then did those evil men have compassion
They covered their ears and shouted aloud: Stone him

But the man of God did not stop seeking his light in God
