Soneto

O mal estar que exala quem discorda
Porque não sente quase ou não entende
Concorda bem com o de quem assente
Sem romper a casca, e não acorda.
Somente se distar de estar de frente
Distrai a sua mente da derrota.
Distante como diante de uma porta
Destrói na letra preta o branco ausente.
A vida do sentido o incomoda -
Vigor de ponta a ponta da serpente
Que o branco ovo a cada dia lota.
Suporta, não se importa ou então mente,
Não compreende o que o prende à borda -
O ouro da palavra, um acidente.

Sonnet

The malaise that emanates from one who disagrees
Because they barely feel or do not comprehend
Agrees well with one who assents
Without breaking the shell and does not awaken.
Only if they distance themselves from being face-to-face
Their mind distracts itself from defeat.
Distant as if in front of a door
Destroys in the black letter the absent white.
The life of meaning bothers them -
Vigor from one end of the serpent to the other
That fills the white egg each day.
They endure, do not care or then lie,
They do not understand what binds them to the edge -
The gold of the word, an accident.
