Intro

My biggest problem was that I thought I had said everything already
But that wasn't true
I was still keeping things inside that I didn't want to share
And it was hurting me

I ended up hitting a brick wall at one point
None of the music I was making felt meaningful
And I felt completely drained of any energy I had left
And that's why I'm here
Cause I can't afford to do something like that again

I had this album idea
It was about me adventuring to another planet
Where my ex wasn't around
Like she was completely nonexistent in this world
And I had to learn to get along without her

But as I kept going on with this concept
I eventually realized that I had nowhere to go with it
And I had no idea how to finish it
So I figured I'd just do what I wanted to do in the first place
And that is make whatever on earth I want

Mon plus grand problème était que je pensais avoir tout dit
Mais ce n'était pas vrai
Je gardais encore des choses en moi que je ne voulais pas partager
Et ça me faisait mal

J'ai fini par heurter un mur à un moment donné
Aucune de la musique que je faisais ne me semblait significative
Et je me sentais complètement vidé de toute l'énergie qu'il me restait
Et c'est pourquoi je suis ici
Parce que je ne peux pas me permettre de faire une chose comme ça à nouveau

J'avais cette idée d'album
C'était à propos de moi qui aventurais sur une autre planète
Où tu n'étais pas
Comme si tu n'existais pas du tout dans ce monde
Et j'avais appris à vivre sans toi

Mais au fur et à mesure que je continuais avec ce concept
J'ai fini par réaliser que je n'avais nulle part où aller avec ça
Et je n'avais aucune idée de comment le terminer
Alors j'ai décidé de faire ce que j'avais envie de faire au départ
C'est-à-dire faire ce que je veux sur terre
