Es war die Nacht vor Weihnachten,
und durch die ganze Dämmerung,
war die Szene ruhig, außer bei Papa und Mama.
Dort saßen sie, völlig breit, in ihrem großen Sessel,
benebelt von Eierpunsch, Sherry und Bier.
Ces und Klein-Jr. lagen da im Bett,
