Другой, который Боря, считал в уме доходы,

Так что же стоит нам решить, что тот, второй,
Не стоит ни гроша, что жалок он, что нет ему прощенья?
Быть может то, что Боря был художник,

Anemone

Sitting on the grass wet from a downpour,
Two people are looking at the sky.
One is a dreamer, an artist, in love with himself,
The other is a businessman named Boris.
One, gazing at the stars in awe,
Dreams of capturing the magical cosmos.
The other, Boris, is mentally counting his profits,
And thinks it would be good to get hold of the stars as well.
So what should we decide, dear woman,
That the second one is worthless, that he's pitiful, that he doesn't deserve forgiveness?
Maybe it's that Boris was an artist,
And the businessman is just a mask, a shadow without regret.
"Dreams are one thing, and life, business - quite another".
That's what his father told him, raising his son.
