Behind the Times is a song that when we cut the original record
Our current radio single right now, Heaven By Then
And Behind the Times were kind of close in theme
So at first we kind of shied away from it
And it wasn't necessarily about one song being better than the other
It was what the other songs said

Having Blake and Vince on it obviously just helped it a ton
But this song is kind, you know where
Heaven By Then says, you know, this is who I am
This is what I love, and when these things aren't around anymore
Like I'm good with it being my time to go
Behind the Times talks about those things specifically

Hinter der Zeit ist ein Song, der, als wir die ursprüngliche Platte aufnahmen...
Unsere aktuelle Radio-Single jetzt, Heaven By Then,
und Hinter der Zeit waren thematisch ziemlich nah beieinander.
Also haben wir uns zuerst etwas davor gescheut.
Und es ging nicht unbedingt darum, dass ein Song besser war als der andere,
sondern darum, was die anderen Songs aussagten.

Dass Blake und Vince dabei sind, hat dem Song natürlich enorm geholfen.
Aber dieser Song, weißt du, wo
Heaven By Then sagt, weißt du, das bin ich,
das ist, was ich liebe, und wenn diese Dinge nicht mehr da sind,
dann bin ich bereit zu gehen.
Hinter der Zeit spricht speziell über diese Dinge.

Was diese Dinge sind, ist wie, äh, Lass mir Woodstock,
12-Gauge-Pump, Square Body, verblassend unter dieser Sonne.
Manche Dinge werden mit dem Alter einfach besser,
