Script

You know, this ain't a movie.
Yet everyone around you is playing a part.
Not everyone would admit to it, sure.
But that's just what everyone does.
Hour after hour, day after day, week after week, all of us.
Some think they got the whole script down.
But I think most of us are playing by heart.
And all it takes for things to go one way rather than the other
Is somebody who takes his or her own part very, very seriously.
And when you do that,
When you really go and do that - you just
Don't know. You just don't know what's gonna happen.
It could be the perfect ending and
Everybody's living happily ever after.
Or it could turn out real bad.
It could turn out you're not the hero.
It could turn out you're the one holding the knife,
Just before that final gunshot,
Only moments before the credits start rolling...
So - how are you going to play your part?

Drehbuch

Weißt du, das hier ist kein Film.
Doch jeder um dich herum spielt eine Rolle.
Nicht jeder würde es zugeben, sicher.
Aber das ist einfach das, was jeder tut.
Stunde für Stunde, Tag für Tag, Woche für Woche, wir alle.
Manche denken, sie kennen das ganze Drehbuch auswendig.
Aber ich glaube, die meisten von uns improvisieren.
Und alles, was es braucht, damit die Dinge so oder anders laufen,
Ist jemand, der seine oder ihre eigene Rolle sehr, sehr ernst nimmt.
Und wenn du das tust,
Wenn du das wirklich tust - dann weißt du einfach nicht.
Du weißt einfach nicht, was passieren wird.
Es könnte das perfekte Ende sein und
Alle leben glücklich bis ans Ende ihrer Tage.
Oder es könnte richtig übel ausgehen.
Es könnte sich herausstellen, dass du nicht die Heldin bist.
Es könnte sich herausstellen, dass du diejenige bist, die das Messer hält,
Kurz vor dem letzten Schuss,
Nur Momente bevor der Abspann beginnt...
