Got an amazing talent, amazing young guy from Brighton

Uhm, sent us a song, just him singing
Ah, and him playing some basic chords on the piano
And it's a lot slower
And it's a really dark, kind of moody song
And we just right away, we're drawn to it
A really different sound, singing quite softly

Uhm, but had a, a weird kind of energy in it as well
And uh, we spread it up a bit
We change some of the keys, put some crazy beats under it
And it kinda be your feelings first
Ah, I'm feeling symphony most of the time
You know, really listening to that record a lot
And just heard that we managed to do something so special here
All the energy in the strings and the drums and stuff
So uhm, we spent a lot of time working on that side of the song

Uhm, you know it's come, it's come across really well
And it's been a lovely moment in the festivals this year
Towards the end of the summer

Perdus et retrouvés - Chanson par chanson

Perdus et retrouvés, c'est notre premier single de l'album,
avec Louis Mattrs.
Un talent incroyable, un jeune homme formidable de Brighton.

Euh, il nous a envoyé une chanson, juste lui en train de chanter,
ah, et lui jouant quelques accords basiques au piano.
Et c'est beaucoup plus lent,
et c'est une chanson vraiment sombre, un peu mélancolique.
Et tout de suite, on a été attirés par elle.
Un son vraiment différent, il chante assez doucement.

Euh, mais elle avait une, une sorte d'énergie étrange aussi.
Et euh, on l'a un peu accélérée,
on a changé certaines tonalités, on a mis des rythmes fous en dessous.
Et c'est un peu comme tes sentiments d'abord.
Ah, je ressens de la symphonie la plupart du temps,
tu sais, j'écoute vraiment beaucoup ce disque.
Et je viens d'entendre que nous avons réussi à faire quelque chose de si spécial ici.
Toute l'énergie des cordes, de la batterie et tout.
Donc euh, on a passé beaucoup de temps à travailler sur cet aspect de la chanson.

Euh, tu sais, c'est venu, c'est venu très bien.
Et ça a été un beau moment dans les festivals cette année,
vers la fin de l'été.
