In the summer of 1997
I experienced God in a way that forever changed me
The glory of God invaded our church on a Sunday
Evening at 6PM and the entire congregation of
About a thousand people fell on their faces
No one instructed them to or suggested they get on their faces
There was just no other appropriate response to
Take when the glory swept into the room
I remember crawling under the piano, being wrecked by God
When I finally got up on all fours, I looked at my
Watch in disbelief that it was now, that is now 11:30PM
Four and a half hours later - felt like twenty minutes
And my heart was completely shifted as I realized
There was more of God than I ever knew was available

This moment marked me
It was the high watermark of all that I'd ever experienced
It became the lens that I looked through to measure
Everything else I would ever know about the presence of God
My spirit knew immediately that everything changed
But it took my mind years to process what had
Happened and at times
I still search for words to adequately describe my encounter

And some twenty years later, I hear the voice of
God, speaking about a coming wave of His glory
There is a move of God unlike anything the world
Has ever seen and it's swiftly approaching
The Spirit of God is brooding over the face of the
Earth, waiting for a place to welcome and host what
He intends to do in the Earth
Many of our churches do not have the time in their
Services for the glory that's coming
But there is a generation of people, waking up with
An insatiable hunger for the more of God
They'll recklessly abandon everything they've
Known in their tidy-produced church services
The glory of Eden is breaking through
The original intent of fellowship with God and man restored
It's a place in His presence where few will dare to go

À l'été 1997
J'ai fait l'expérience de Dieu d'une manière qui m'a changé à jamais
La gloire de Dieu a envahi notre église un dimanche
Soir à 18 heures et toute la congrégation de
Environ mille personnes sont tombées sur le visage
Personne ne leur a demandé ou suggéré de tomber sur le visage
Il n'y avait tout simplement pas d'autre réponse appropriée à
Prendre quand la gloire a balayé la pièce
Je me souviens d'avoir rampé sous le piano, étant détruit par Dieu
Quand j'ai finalement pu me relever à quatre pattes, j'ai regardé mon
Regarder avec incrédulité qu'il était maintenant, c'est maintenant 23h30
Quatre heures et demie plus tard - ça a semblé vingt minutes
Et mon cœur était complètement changé lorsque j'ai réalisé
Il y avait plus de Dieu que je ne l'avais jamais su était disponible

Ce moment m'a marqué
C'était le point culminant de tout ce que j'avais jamais vécu
C'est devenu la lentille à travers laquelle je regardais pour mesurer
Tout le reste que je saurais jamais sur la présence de Dieu
Mon esprit a su immédiatement que tout avait changé
Mais il a fallu des années à mon esprit pour assimiler ce qui s'était passé
Arrivé et parfois
Je cherche encore des mots pour décrire adéquatement ma rencontre

Et une vingtaine d'années plus tard, j'entends la voix de
Dieu, parlant d'une vague à venir de Sa gloire
Il y a un mouvement de Dieu comme le monde n'en a jamais vu
A jamais vu et il approche rapidement
L'Esprit de Dieu couve sur le visage de la
Terre, attendant un endroit pour accueillir et héberger ce qu'il
Il a l'intention de faire dans la Terre
Beaucoup de nos églises n'ont pas le temps dans leurs
Services pour la gloire qui arrive
Mais il y a une génération de personnes qui se réveillent avec
Une faim insatiable pour plus de Dieu
Ils abandonneront sans ménagement tout ce qu'ils ont
Connu dans leurs services religieux propres et produits
La gloire de l'Éden percée
L'intention originale de la communion entre Dieu et l'homme restaurée
C'est un endroit en Sa présence où peu oseront aller
