يازين ما نستاهل الصد
منـــــك ولا هذا جزانا
قصرت يا بو يادل أسود
وأظلمت نفسك في ادعوانا
الاول اتساورنا وتنشد
عــــنا ولا تصبـــــر بلانا
واليوم من شهرين وزيد
.قاطع وخبــــرك ما لافــــانا
مدري اتغلا لو بعد حد
واشئ سعى لك من ورانا
ولا تغيـــر قلبــــك ورد
.هواك ما ناســـب هـــوانا
يالسولعي يا صافي الخد
مسمـــــوح لو منك عنانا
مالي في المقفين مقصد
.ولا نرتجي لي ما يبـــانـا
نصبر ونتحـــمل ونبعـــد
.بزين لا تشمت عدانا
هيهات مثلي يفضي السد

I Don't Deserve Sadness

O handsome, I don't deserve sadness
From you, nor is this our reward
You fell short, O father of a black heart
And wronged yourself in your claim against us
First, you argue with us and ask us
About us and do not bear with our affliction
And today, for two months and more
You have cut us off and your news has not reached us
I wonder if you have become arrogant or after a certain limit
And something has happened to you behind our backs
Or has your heart changed and returned
Your love does not befit our humiliation
O my beloved, O pure-faced
Forgiven if you leave us
I have no purpose in these verses
Nor do we hope for what is not ours
We will be patient and endure and stay away
So that our enemies do not gloat
