The first reaction I got when I mention this name to the team
Was they quite taken a back and surprised
I think I remember it was Karim Minairol and they were quite like
"Are you serious?"
"You gonna name this album Rojak?"
I said, "why not?"
"You see? It took you by surprise"
"So why not we call this album Rojak?"

And I'm happy with it
Because I think it's one thing that we all enjoy
It's the food that we enjoy
And we are proud of that comes from Malaysia
But there's something to this Rojak that
Actually we can take note from, you know
Something that we can learn from it is that
All of us here in Malaysia

We all rojak
We are all rojak
We are rojak
We rojak, okay
Because you go to any other country
I've travelled a lot
And at the end of the day you realize that
Malaysia is the most unique country you can ever be in
I love Malaysia, so much
Because of the rojak
Because of the people
The people, rojak
Culture, rojak
Bahasa, rojak
It just so beautiful
And that is why I decided to call this album rojak
Because it represents Malaysia

War, dass sie ziemlich überrumpelt und überrascht waren

"Meinst du das ernst?"
"Du willst dieses Album Rojak nennen?"
Ich sagte: "Warum nicht?"
"Siehst du? Es hat dich überrascht"
"Warum nennen wir dieses Album also nicht Rojak?"

Und ich bin glücklich damit
Denn ich denke, es ist eine Sache, die wir alle genießen
Es ist das Essen, das wir genießen
Und wir sind stolz darauf, dass es aus Malaysia kommt
Aber es gibt etwas an diesem Rojak, das
