Cuando Erefil Tercero
Se fue en su boda a casar

Veintidós hijos y un sapo
Que después salió en un cuento
Pero aquella fue otra historia

Que a partir de ese momento
Las mozas se imaginaron
Que casarse con un príncipe
Era astuto y bien pensado
Y aunque hubo el caso de alguna
Las demás no lo contaron

Si hubo festín por cuatro días
Y abundaron a la mano
La comida y la bebida
Y fue en el día de bodas
De Erefil y moraleja:
