Let me tell you something, do you like monster movies?
Anybody?

I love monster movies, I simply adore monster movies,
And the cheaper they are, the better they are.
And cheepnis in the case of a monster movie
Has nothing to do with the budget of the film, al
H it helps. but true cheepnis is exemplified by visible nylon strings
Attached to the jaw of a giant spider. I'll tell you,
A good one that I saw one time, I think the name of the film was "
Onquered the world" (yeah!) and the... did you ever see that one?
The monster looks sort of like an inverted ice-cream corn
With teeth around the bottom. it looks like a, like a teepee or a
Of a rounded off pup-tent affair. and ah,
It's got fangs on the base of it,
I don't know why but it's a very threatening sight.
And then he's got a frown and, you know, ugly mouth and everythin
D there's this one scene where the ah monster is coming out of a cave.
See? there's always a scene where they come out of a cave,
At least once. and the rest of the cast... it musta been made aro
He 1950's. the lapels are about like th
At wide, the ties are about that wide and about this short,
And they always have a little revolver that they're gonna shoot
The monster with.
And there is always a girl who falls down and twists
Ankle. hey hey! of course there is! you know how they are,
The weaker sex and everything,
Twisting their ankle on behalf of a little ice-cream corn.
Well in this particular scene, in this scene, they ah,
They didn't wanna re-take it 'cause it musta been so good they wanted
To keep it, but they...
When the monster came out of the cave,
Just over on the left hand side of the screen you
Ee about this much two-by-four attached to the bottom of the thing as
The guy is pushing it out,
And then obviously off-camera somebody's
Goin': "no! get it back!" ...and they drag it
Just a little bit as the guy is
Goin': "kch! kch!" now that's cheepnis.
Right. and this is cheepnis here: one two three four...

Laisse-moi te dire un truc, tu aimes les films de monstres ?

J'adore les films de monstres, j'adore tout simplement les films de monstres,
Et plus ils sont cheap, mieux c'est.
Et le cheap, dans le cas d'un film de monstre,
N'a rien à voir avec le budget du film, bien que
Ça aide. Mais le vrai cheap, c'est quand tu vois les ficelles en nylon
Attachées à la mâchoire d'une araignée géante. Je vais te dire,
Un bon que j'ai vu une fois, je crois que le film s'appelait "
A conquis le monde" (ouais !) et le... tu l'as déjà vu, celui-là ?
Le monstre ressemble à une sorte de cornet de glace à l'envers
Avec des dents autour du bas. On dirait un, genre un tipi ou un
Genre de tente de camping arrondie. Et euh,
Il a des crocs à la base,
Je sais pas pourquoi, mais c'est une vision très menaçante.
Et puis il fronce les sourcils et, tu sais, il a une bouche horrible et tout,
Et il y a cette scène où le monstre sort d'une grotte.
Tu vois ? Il y a toujours une scène où ils sortent d'une grotte,
Au moins une fois. Et le reste du casting... ça a dû être fait vers
Les années 1950. Les revers de veste sont à peu près aussi
Larges, les cravates sont à peu près aussi larges et courtes,
Et ils ont toujours un petit revolver avec lequel ils vont tirer
Sur le monstre.
Et il y a toujours une fille qui tombe et se tord
La cheville. Eh eh ! Bien sûr qu'il y en a une ! Tu sais comment elles sont,
Le sexe faible et tout,
Se tordre la cheville à cause d'un petit cornet de glace.
Bon, dans cette scène en particulier, dans cette scène, ils euh,
Ils n'ont pas voulu la refaire parce qu'elle devait être tellement bien qu'ils voulaient
La garder, mais ils...
Quand le monstre est sorti de la grotte,
Juste sur le côté gauche de l'écran, on peut voir
Un bout de bois de charpente attaché au bas du truc pendant que
Le mec le pousse dehors,
Et puis, évidemment, hors champ, quelqu'un dit :
"Non ! Ramenez-le !" ...et ils le tirent
Juste un peu pendant que le mec
Fait : "Kch ! Kch !" Ça, c'est du cheap.
Voilà. Et ça, c'est du cheap aussi : un deux trois quatre...
J'ai mangé un hot-dog

Puis j'ai regardé un film

La gelée et la peinture sur l'ampoule de 40 watts
Qu'ils utilisent quand la bave coule
Les plis et les rides dans le rocher en carton
Et la toile de la grotte est trop molle
Les costumes, les chapeaux et les cravates sont trop larges
Et trop courts pour le scientifique
La chimiste au cerveau dérangé
Et le monstre vient de dévorer le Japon

Que les paysans de la région appellent Frunobulax
(Apparemment un très gros caniche)
Vient d'être aperçu s'approchant de la centrale électrique
