Foi buscar uma gaúcha loiraça de olho azul
Minha santa mãe sagrada que me criou com cuidado
Me ensinou a ter respeito, amar e trazer no peito
O Mato Grosso adorado

A exemplo do meu pai chegaram muitos sulistas
Que aqui no Mato Grosso também fizeram conquistas
E trouxeram na bagagem o lema e a tradição
