A man and a woman happened to sit next to one another on a train
The woman, took out a book and began reading
The train stopped at a half dozen stations but she never looked up once
The man watched her for a while, and then asked
"What are you reading?"
"It's a ghost story" she said,
"It's very good"
"Very spooky"
"Do you believe in ghosts?" he asked
"Yes I do" she replied
"There are ghosts everywhere"
"I don't believe in them" he said
"Just a lot of superstition
In all my years I've never seen a ghost"
"Not one"
"Haven't you?" The woman said,
And vanished

Un homme et une femme se sont retrouvés assis l’un à côté de l’autre dans un train
La femme a sorti un livre et s’est mise à lire
Le train s’est arrêté à une demi-douzaine de gares, mais elle n’a jamais levé les yeux
L’homme l’a observée un moment, puis il lui a demandé
"Que lis-tu ?"
"C’est une histoire de fantômes", a-t-elle répondu,
"C’est très bien"
"Très effrayant"
"Tu crois aux fantômes ?" lui a-t-il demandé
"Oui, j’y crois", a-t-elle répondu
"Il y a des fantômes partout"
"Je n’y crois pas", a-t-il dit
"Ce n’est que de la superstition
En tout mes années, je n’ai jamais vu un fantôme"
"Pas un seul"
"Tu n’en as jamais vu ?" a dit la femme,
Et elle a disparu

Tu crois aux fantômes ?

"Il y a des fantômes partout"
