With "Right Here Right Now" um-
We started out with the production first
Dem joined to produce it
And I was just immediately taken by the track
It just felt so different than anything that I had heard
And um, I really um, like I love stuff like that

I love being able to hear things, and it just piques my interest
And I'm like "Oh okay, that's different" um, so it took a while
We had the track for a while before we kinda were like
"Okay, let's try and write something to it"
'Cause the track was just so amazing and so intricate
James Fauntleroy came in
And he uh- wrote "No Air", my amazing, amazing single
That I have been so blessed to be able to sing for the past eight years
And I will for the rest of my life

He came in and literally did the song in two hours
Like he was just in the booth
And he was in there for so long
And I couldn't see him 'cause the lights were turned off
He was in there for so long
At one point, I like looked at my manager and was like, "Is he okay?"
Um, but he's absolutely incredible, and I love the song

The song is basically saying like
I wanna know what would happen if we kissed right now
You know, I'm sure there've been a ton of people that have been in um
I don't know, any type of venue, at a bar um
You know the dance floor, or seeing someone at the library

It could be anywhere, but you make eye contact with that person
And that thought goes through your head like
I wonder what would happen if right now
Like we were able to kiss or talk or our hands to touch
And that's what I love about this song um
And I also just love the big international feel of it
And also being able to experiment with my voice um
And being able to sing in a different place, um
People are so used to hearing me belt

It's been really nice to be able to just kind of experiment in other places
Um so yeah, I really, really love this song
And I thought that this would be perfect
You know, it's very different from what people have heard from me before um
But I love it

Avec "Right Here Right Now", euh-
On a commencé par la production
Dem a rejoint pour la produire
Et j'ai tout de suite été séduite par la musique
Elle était tellement différente de tout ce que j'avais entendu
Et euh, j'aime vraiment euh, j'adore ce genre de choses

J'aime pouvoir entendre des choses, ça pique ma curiosité
Et je me dis "Oh, ok, c'est différent", euh, donc ça a pris du temps
On a eu la musique pendant un moment avant de dire
"Ok, essayons d'écrire quelque chose dessus"
Parce que la musique était tellement incroyable et tellement complexe
James Fauntleroy est arrivé
Et il a euh- écrit "No Air", mon incroyable, incroyable single
Que j'ai eu la chance de chanter pendant les huit dernières années
Et je le chanterai toute ma vie

Il est arrivé et a littéralement fait la chanson en deux heures
Comme il était juste dans la cabine
Et il était là pendant si longtemps
Et je ne pouvais pas le voir parce que les lumières étaient éteintes

À un moment donné, j'ai regardé mon manager et je lui ai dit : "Il va bien ?"
Euh, mais il est absolument incroyable, et j'adore la chanson

La chanson dit en gros que
Je veux savoir ce qui se passerait si on s'embrassait maintenant
Tu sais, je suis sûre qu'il y a eu beaucoup de gens qui ont été euh
Je ne sais pas, dans n'importe quel type de lieu, dans un bar euh
Tu sais, la piste de danse, ou en voyant quelqu'un à la bibliothèque

Ça pourrait être n'importe où, mais tu croises le regard de cette personne
Et cette pensée te traverse l'esprit comme
Je me demande ce qui se passerait si maintenant
On pouvait s'embrasser, se parler, se toucher la main
Et c'est ce que j'aime dans cette chanson euh
Et j'adore aussi l'ambiance internationale qu'elle dégage
Et aussi le fait de pouvoir expérimenter ma voix euh
Et de pouvoir chanter dans un endroit différent, euh
Les gens ont l'habitude de m'entendre chanter fort

C'est vraiment agréable de pouvoir simplement expérimenter d'autres choses
Euh, donc oui, j'aime vraiment, vraiment cette chanson
Et je pensais que ce serait parfait
Tu sais, c'est très différent de ce que les gens ont entendu de moi auparavant euh
Mais j'adore
