Track two is, "Fri-end?", uhm, and this is kind of like a punch
Into this sort of like, you know, fun-er kind of like
Definitely still got a bit of aggression to it, uhm
But it′s like fun and kinda pumped up sounding so
Uhm, I like the way that it goes from power hot, it's like serious tone
Into, into and just like, a lot of fun

Uhm, and this was actually the first song that I wrote for the record, uhm, I reckon, like a while ago
And it′s about rubbish friends and realising that, you know, that the lyrics are like
Uhm
The way you dressed was more important to you than it was to being my friend
And that kind of, I think that someone cares about like material things
More than they do about you, yeah

And there's also a really cool section at the end of this
Uhm, after all these built up harmonies
That was born out of a session we did in Tom's garage
Uhm, and I really like it′s actually
One of my favourite moments on the whole record
Especially ′cause it was just born out of like, spontaneity
And uhm, it was a really unexpected moment

Like I was just throwing things down and trying things out
And uhm, and Tom was like, "You got any other ideas?"
And I was like, "Well, I could try, maybe this backing vocal"
And then, once I'd done the first backing vocal
I just started doing like, second and third and fourth and fifth
And they all built up into this crazy, like choir at the end of the song
Which was completely unexpected, uhm
And not at all how I thought this song would end when I wrote it

La deuxième piste est "Fri-end ?", euh, et c'est un peu comme un coup de poing
Dans ce genre de, tu sais, un peu plus amusant, genre
J'ai toujours un peu d'agressivité, euh
Mais c'est comme amusant et un peu excitant, donc
Euh, j'aime la façon dont elle passe du chaud et puissant, c'est un ton sérieux
En, en et juste comme, beaucoup de plaisir

Euh, et c'était en fait la première chanson que j'ai écrite pour l'album, euh, je crois, il y a un moment
Et ça parle des amis pourris et de la réalisation que, tu sais, les paroles sont comme
Euh
La façon dont tu t'habillais était plus importante pour toi que d'être mon amie
Et ce genre de, je pense que quelqu'un se soucie plus des choses matérielles
Que de toi, ouais

Et il y a aussi une section vraiment cool à la fin de celle-ci
Euh, après toutes ces harmonies construites
Qui est née d'une session que nous avons faite dans le garage de Tom
Euh, et j'aime vraiment, c'est en fait
Un de mes moments préférés de tout l'album
Surtout parce que c'est né de la spontanéité, genre
Et euh, c'était un moment vraiment inattendu

Genre, je lançais juste des choses et j'essayais des trucs
Et euh, et Tom a dit : "Tu as d'autres idées ?"
Et j'ai dit : "Eh bien, je pourrais essayer, peut-être cette voix d'accompagnement"
Et puis, une fois que j'ai fait la première voix d'accompagnement
J'ai juste commencé à faire, deuxième et troisième et quatrième et cinquième
Et tout ça a construit ce truc de fou, genre un chœur à la fin de la chanson
Ce qui était complètement inattendu, euh
Et pas du tout comme je pensais que cette chanson finirait quand je l'ai écrite
