You see, sometimes, I think we all have a tend-- We all
Have a tendency to wanna go back and forth about things
And...
I mean, there's nothing wrong with that
There's just something about, like, an open and honest
Conversation where you actually can learn from one another
So I'm gonna need you to do me that favor for two minutes right now

This is called the plenary of The Leagues of Light
It was developed by my colleague, Ulla Le Guin, many, many years ago
It's based on a practice from Chinese
Medicine known as the Four Elements
Now, what are the Four Elements?
Well, they're earth, water, fire, and air
Think about the last time you felt really grounded
What was going on for you at that moment?
Maybe it was you were walking around your block or maybe it
Was taking in the scents of a forest or maybe it was being in
Nature for the first time ever, and you felt really grounded
Think about that next time you're feeling ungrounded
Now, I'm gonna invite you to close your eyes again, but this
Time, imagine yourself standing here with me up here on stage
You can do this too if you want to
And breathe deeply now, letting go of any worries or concerns
Whoo
That felt good, right?
It feels good to just kind of sink into something
Without having to think about anything else
Now, I want you to imagine yourself
Standing here on this stage all dressed up
And I'm gonna count from one to three, and when I do, release
These balls from your hands and let them fall down onto the ground

See if you can find your center again, your grounding point

Nun, was sind die Vier Elemente?
Nun, sie sind Erde, Wasser, Feuer und Luft
Denk an das letzte Mal, als du dich richtig geerdet gefühlt hast
Was ist in diesem Moment mit dir passiert?
Vielleicht hast du in deiner Nachbarschaft spaziert oder
Die Düfte eines Waldes eingeatmet oder vielleicht warst du zum
Ersten Mal in der Natur und fühltest dich tief geerdet
Denk daran, wenn du dich das nächste Mal ungeerdet fühlst
Jetzt bitte ich dich, wieder die Augen zu schließen, doch dieses
Mal stell dir vor, du stehst hier mit mir auf der Bühne
Du kannst das auch tun, wenn du möchtest
Atme nun tief durch und lass alle Sorgen los
