Antigoni

Άλλη μια μέρα από 'κείνες τις ευθείες
που δεν μιλά ελληνικά κάτι σπουδαίο.
Οι εφημερίδες έχουν μόνο αγγελίες
κι είναι από χρόνια διαβασμένο κάθε νέο.

Άλλη μια μέρα που ξυπνάνε τα θηρία.
Γίνεται ο κόσμος ο πλανήτης των πιθήκων.
Μια πυρκαγιά ξεσπά στην πολυκατοικία
και διακόπτει τα βαλσάκια των ενοίκων.

Αυτό το έργο έχει μόνο πρώτους ρόλους.
Η εποχή αυτή κομπάρσους δε σηκώνει .
με δυο γονείς αριστερούς ονειροπόλους
τόσο καιρό κρατούσα μόνο το κοντάρι
κι ήρθε η στιγμή να βγω να παίξω Αντιγόνη.

Άλλη μια νύχτα που η σκέψη μας φρενάρει
κι ησυχία μας δεν είναι πια ησυχία.
Βγαίνει το πρόσωπό μου, κλαίει στο φεγγάρι
κι ό, τι αγαπάμε φακελώνεται σ' αρχεία.

Αυτό το έργο έχει μόνο πρώτους ρόλους.

κι οι αγαπημένες περιττές μας ασχολίες
έχουνε γίνει η τροφή του τέρατός μας.

Antigone

when nothing significant speaks Greek.
Newspapers only carry ads
and every piece of news has been read for ages.

Another day when the beasts awaken.
The world, the planet becomes like Planet of the Apes.
A fire breaks out in the apartment building
and interrupts the valses of the tenants.

This play only has leading roles.
The era does not tolerate extras.
With my parents being leftist dreamers
I have been holding just the spearand the moment has come for my to go out and play Antigone.
and the moment has come for my to go out and play Antigone.

Another night when our thinking hits the breaks
and our quietude is no longer quietude.
My face comes out crying in the moonlight
and everything we love is filled into files.

This play only has leading roles.
The era does not tolerate extras.
With my parents being leftist dreamers
