Das von den Unruhen und so handelt.
Also spielten sie "Give A Damn" im Mittagsbericht,
Nur einmal, aber das war genug.
Ein Kameramann mit tollem Filmmaterial
Von glühender Glut und verkohlten Überresten
Kombinierte die Bilder mit dem Lied in den Sechs-Uhr-Nachrichten,
Nach dem Baseballspiel.
Dann sagten alle, es sei ein wirklich gutes Lied.
"Warum haben wir es nicht schon früher gehört?
Lasst uns die Radiosender dafür verantwortlich machen,
Dass sie den Bürgerkrieg heraufbeschworen haben.
Oh sicher, wir hatten einige Artikel gesehen,
Wir wussten, dass einige Leute Hilfe brauchten,
Aber Sozialarbeiter kümmern sich darum.
