Es ist das fünfte Mal, dass ich an der Küste stehe, der kubanischen Küste, und auf den fernen Horizont blicke, in dem Glauben,
dass ich es wieder schaffen werde.

Nicht nur ich habe es viermal versucht, sondern die größten Schwimmer der Welt versuchen es seit 1950

Das Team ist stolz auf die vier Versuche.
Es ist eine Expedition von etwa 30 Personen.

Und wir waren auf einer Reise.

Es geht im Leben um die Reise, nicht wirklich um das Ziel.
Und hier waren wir auf dieser Reise und die Wahrheit ist, dass es aufregend war.
Wir haben das andere Ufer noch nicht erreicht und unser Stolz und unsere unerschütterliche Verpflichtung sind immer noch ungebrochen.
