I tell these guys: You don't know me, you don′t know me at all
Does bein' cool with my homie make you cool with me? Nah
I got layers to my person and the first one is thin
And you′ve never met the person within, it's far deeper than skin

Ich habe eine echt schlechte Angewohnheit
Ich denke, ich weiß alles, bevor es passiert
Ein paar Mal lag ich richtig, das half nicht
Und es machte einen Besserwisser nur wissend, ohne zu fragen
Bis zu dem Punkt, dass wenn ich die Antwort nicht wusste
Ich sie mir ausdachte, wie die Bedeutung einer Leinwand
Noch ein Pseudo-Intellektueller mit einer Vermutung, und ich raste aus
Wenn du sagst, ich liege nicht richtig
Aber das wurde echt schnell alt
Ich glaube, ich hatte Angst davor, außen vor zu sein
Oder der Insider, während alle anderen draußen sind
Ich will nur der Erste sein, der ruft: "Wurde auch Zeit!"
Ich habe meistens keine Ahnung, was ich tue, wenn ich morgens aufwache
Fake sein mittendrin? Nee, ich bin lieber echt und unwissend

Ich war mal auf einer Veranstaltung
Wollte Leute treffen und so
So New Yorker Kram, wo Leute denken, du bist cool
Weil deine Crew gesehen wurde, wie sie die Schlange überspringt
Als ich erstmal drin war, chillte ich
Versuchte, die Stimmung zu fühlen, versuchte, sie auszuloten
Den Ort ausloten mit einem Blick im Gesicht
Als ob ich es nicht wirklich fühlen würde
Und da kam sie
Sah aus, als ob sie einen Blog über Haare betreibt
Lass mich raten: Du isst kein Fleisch, machst jede Woche Yoga
Und du hängst nur hier rum
Ich schweife ab, ich lag völlig falsch
Sie war alles andere als dumm, wir waren uns so ähnlich
Da war kein Verstellen, hätte ein Juwel verlieren können

Vielleicht getarnt, um uns zu schützen, während wir anfangen zu prahlen
Und deshalb habe ich mein Unternehmen auf unheimliche Weise unter Kontrolle
Sie würden lieber eine Lüge verbreiten, als die Wahrheit zu verkaufen, um ins Fernsehen zu kommen
Haben vielleicht keine Ahnung, aber das hält ihre Detektivaugen nicht auf
Ich sage diesen Typen: Ihr kennt mich nicht, ihr kennt mich überhaupt nicht
Macht es dich cool mit mir, wenn du mit meinem Kumpel cool bist? Nee
Meine Persönlichkeit hat Schichten, und die erste ist dünn
Und du hast die Person darin nie getroffen, es geht viel tiefer als die Haut
